We have a straight forward setup ..2 Citrix Servers running. The License Server is not a Seperate Server.

After reading these forums it looks like I should be migrating to new Servers rather than upgrading.

Does anyone have a straight forward Step by Step on how to go about this?

Thanks

Hi,

Here's a similar thread:

Most of what you need is in the CPS 4.5 Admin Guide, although it isn't very concise and isn't in one place in the guide - you need to read a good chunk of it:

Other useful docs:

A lot depends on whether your existing CPS 4.0 servers are on a Windows 2000 platform or not. If so, definitely migrate. If not, consider upgrading - it's easier.

You should also have a look at Jason Conger's project Mobius:

http://www.jasonconger.com/Project-Mobius-Beta-2-1.aspx

Which will let you migrate published apps and content from your 4.0 farm to your new 4.5 farm

There's just too much stuff to go over. If you would like assistance with this project, I would be happy to consult. You can get in touch with me via my website link below.
