Currently my organization has PS 4.0. We have a mobile staff that accesses our Citrix servers through cellular cards (Verizon cards models PC5750 and PC5740). When our staff connects to a publish application they experience random disconnects. I have both models of the card in the office troubleshooting them and I have had mix results. Here are a couple of things I have tried with the cards, I have tried accessing the publish application with a Low, Medium, and Low Connection Speeds in Citrix connection preferences. Low and High connection speeds would allow me to stay connected between 15 minutes to and hour. I was able to stay connected about 2 hours and 45 minutes when I connected using Medium connection settings. I tried installing new drivers for the card and that did not work. I have not been able to limit this to citrix or to the card. When I get disconnected from citrix I am still able to surf the web so the connection seems to still be active. The signal strength is strong. Sometimes it degrades but when it does my connection is still active and I am able to work in the publish application. Our current idle time out on the Citrix servers is like six hours. I was wondering if anyone else was having this problem and what other steps I could take to troubleshoot this problem.
